Rebuilding

Welcome visitors to our website. I want to share a brief teaching from Haggai 1.

We are in days of rebuilding and restoring the church to what it is called to be.

In Haggai we see the remnant had gotten sidetracked from rebuilding the temple.

The prophet spoke--"Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate (dry, waste)?"

Then the Lord told them twice to 'consider your ways'. This was more than thinking about something. The Lord was telling them to set or appoint their path or direction towards what He wanted.

He told them to go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild. To us He is saying to come up into His holy hill and abide with Him. He is our ONLY source for rebuilding materials.

The people had been suffering drought and famine which the Lord had sent. He told them that they had caused the rains to be withheld. Why? They had put their houses, agenda and energies into their personal lives first and ignored the Lord's heart.

However, after being told this, the leaders and remnant of the people obeyed the Lord, listened to His voice and revered Him.

THEN the Lord stirred their spirits and came and worked on the house of the Lord.

This is good advice for today. We must put His purposes first.

Hi, and welcome to Manna. I want to thank all of you who are dropping by. I encourage you to feed from the table the Lord Jesus has enabled us to set.

We have heard from many places, including Canada, Israel, Saudi Arabia,Honduras,Kenya, Nigeria, Thailand and London, among other places. We have heard from California to Michagan to Kentucky down into Florida.

This blows me away and causes me much joy.

Heb. 1:1-3--"God the Father, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son Jesus, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And Jesus is the radiance of the Father's glory and the exact representation of the Father's nature, and He upholds all things by Word of His power."
